Role description
We're looking for a Junior Data Analyst to join our dynamic BI team, where you'll play a vital role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive business performance. Reporting to the CFO/Group Financial Manager, you'll be responsible for designing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, generating critical weekly, monthly, and quarterly management reports, and extracting and transforming data from multiple sources. You'll work closely with Finance, Commercial, and Product teams to deliver reporting solutions that meet real business needs, while also handling ad hoc data requests from senior leadership. In this hybrid role, you'll have the opportunity to develop your technical skills across the full data analytics stack—from writing and optimizing T-SQL queries to building compelling data visualizations that tell clear stories for non-technical stakeholders. You'll be supported by experienced senior team members who will guide your development as you tackle both routine reporting tasks and larger projects. Your analytical mindset and attention to detail will help identify data anomalies, automate common report requests, and continuously improve our data infrastructure. We value team players who are self-starters with excellent communication skills, integrity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. We're ideally seeking candidates with 1-3 years of experience and a degree in Statistics, Data Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field. You should be proficient with SQL Server, Power BI (including DAX and data modelling), and advanced Excel. Experience in iGaming, sports betting, or technology sectors is advantageous, as is familiarity with Python, R, or cloud data warehousing platforms.
