Data sits at the heart of everything we do—from pricing and risk management to revenue optimisation and sustainable scaling. We're building a modern, scalable data platform, and we need a Senior Analytics Engineer to help us define and build the core analytics layer that drives our business forward. Your mission is to build trusted, scalable data models that enable better decisions and empower teams to self-serve data confidently. You'll develop and maintain dbt models across staging, intermediate, and marts layers, structuring transactional and financial data into clean, reusable datasets. Working closely with Product, Finance, Risk, and Operations teams, you'll design intuitive, well-documented datasets that reduce reliance on raw tables and ad hoc SQL. You'll own data quality and metrics, defining and standardising core KPIs to ensure consistency across all reporting. You'll also optimise SQL in BigQuery, implement data tests and validation frameworks, and work with Data Engineering on pipelines using tools like Airflow. This role is about raising the bar—improving data modeling standards, contributing to better documentation and lineage, and reducing manual reporting across teams. We're looking for someone with 5+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or BI, with advanced SQL skills and production experience with dbt and BigQuery or similar cloud data warehouses. As a senior member of the team, you'll work cross-functionally with senior stakeholders, take ambiguous problems and turn them into structured solutions, and influence standards and best practices. We value strong ownership, clear communication, and a genuine care for data quality and outcomes. Bonus points if you have fintech or payments experience, exposure to Airflow, or interest in AI/ML use cases. We're not looking for someone to just move data—we're looking for someone who takes ownership, thinks about scalability, builds for self-service, and cares about data being trusted and widely adopted.
