Role description
We're Lead Forensics, a rapidly growing SaaS company in the B2B sales and marketing space, and we're looking for a Software Development Manager to lead a section of our engineering department. You'll be responsible for both the performance and personal development of your team while maintaining technical credibility in our modern tech stack (NestJS/NodeJS, Vue, Redis, SQL Server, and Snowflake). This role demands someone who can dive into the code when needed to drive quality and efficiency, while also excelling at people leadership. You'll own performance management, conduct regular 1:1s and reviews, support recruitment, and drive a culture of continuous improvement across your teams. We need someone with proven experience managing senior engineers and tech leads—not just juniors—who has the technical depth to challenge approaches and maintain high standards. Your background as a hands-on developer with strong DevOps practices, combined with excellent interpersonal skills, will be key to fostering our high-trust, collaborative engineering culture.
