Role description
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading the planning, execution, delivery
of strategic and high-impact projects across all core business applications, plays
a key role in maintaining project governance, stakeholder communication, resource
coordination, risk management, and delivery assurance. In addition to direct project
execution, the Senior Project Manager also contributes to continuous improvement
initiatives within the PMO and coach junior members of the project team where
applicable.
MINIMUM SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile PM) is advantageous
- Agile and SDLC methodology knowledge required
- Minimum 5–7 years’ experience managing end-to-end IT or business system
- projects
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams across multiple workstreams
- Experience managing budgets, schedules, risks, and stakeholders
- Strong understanding of Agile, SDLC, and Jira
- Experience in stakeholder engagement at all organisational levels
- Ability to manage complex dependencies and communicate effectively in high
- pressure environments

- Ensure governance adherence and stakeholder alignment - PMO templates
- followed; status updates issued regularly.
- Conduct effective project meetings and reporting - Structured meetings held; minutes/actions distributed.
- Support PMO process improvement initiatives - Contribution to standardisation,
- templates, and reporting tools.
- Mentor junior team members - Guidance provided; team capability uplifted.
- Manage post-implementation reviews - Lessons learned documented and improvement actions tracked.
