Role description
Join our team as a Senior Data Scientist/Lead and lead problem-driven, data-powered initiatives that unlock measurable commercial value. You'll partner closely with commercial leaders to identify high-impact opportunities, shape analytical solutions, and iterate toward outcomes. In this role, you'll guide a squad and champion best practices in discovery, experimentation, and decision science — driving meaningful change, not just delivering models.
Leadership & Business Skills (30–40%)
Lead a squad and collaborate with business stakeholders
Product ownership for promotions use case
Technical Skills (60–70% of role)
Python, PySpark, advanced model building
Problem-solving within the code
Experience
Proven track record leading implementation & rollout of multiple use cases to end-users
Strong execution background, operationalizing models (e.g., promo optimization models)
We're looking for a collaborative, low-ego professional with a strong foundation in applied machine learning, statistics, and experimentation techniques. You'll own end-to-end problem spaces, from opportunity framing to delivery of measurable impact. Your responsibilities will include guiding discovery work, leading the development of scalable analytics solutions, mentoring junior team members, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
