ABOUT THE PROJECT**
The Project Manager will be responsible for the Genasys Upgrade Projects, which will entail the migration of existing clients from the Genasys legacy system (SKi) to the Genasys Unify platform.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The key responsibility of the Project Manager is to ensure the successful completion of all assigned projects. This will include planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and finalizing assigned projects according to the defined budget, deadlines, and technical requirements.
This includes determining the required resources, engaging with the relevant stakeholders to acquire the required stakeholders, developing detailed project plans, and coordinating the efforts of stakeholders to deliver projects according to plan. Such stakeholders would include internal team members, third-party contractors, or consultants. The Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
This is a critical role with the following areas of responsibility:
• Planning, developing, documenting and executing a detailed project plan.
• Coordinating the efforts of stakeholders to deliver projects according to plan.
• Developing a detailed Project Charter.
• Initiating internal and external kick-offs.
• Following the Genasys project delivery process (Agile).
• Responsible for the full Change Management process.
• Risk management through the Risk Matrix and Risk management toolkit.
• Financial planning and forecasting and ensuring that milestones are achieved.
• Determine appropriate revenue recognition and ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
• Effective stakeholder management.
• Ensure all project documents are complete, current and appropriately recorded.
• Maintain continuous team motivation and encouragement.
ABOUT THE CANDIDATE**
**
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Relevant tertiary qualification, with a Project management certification.
• 5 – 8 Years’ Project Management experience
• Previous experience within an Agile environment
• Working experience with project management tools such as MS Projects and Jira.
• Working experience with Microsoft office tools, particularly MS Excel (Intermediate level).
• Experience within the Insurance or InsurTech industry will be a significant advantage.
