Role description
Join Q LINK as the Head of Software Engineering and lead the evolution of our technology landscape during a pivotal transformation. You'll spearhead the modernization of legacy systems, drive engineering excellence, and enhance platform resilience across a diverse tech stack. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on product outcomes and client experiences.
You'll lead a team of 35 staff and contractors, overseeing development streams across multiple platforms and languages. Your responsibilities will include implementing modern SDLC processes, managing QA capabilities, and aligning technology delivery with organizational goals. You'll work closely with the CIO, product managers, and other stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives and ensure high-quality outcomes.
We're looking for a leader with 6+ years in software development, experience in modernizing legacy systems, and a strong background in Agile methodologies. You'll thrive in our hybrid working model, based in Sandton, where you'll have the support and space to focus on engineering excellence.
