About the role
The Full Stack Software Engineer II is essential in a cross-functional team, handling the full software development lifecycle from concept to operation. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance complex software systems, ensuring scalability and performance. You will also guide developers and stakeholders in resolving engineering problems.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of web applications to ensure optimal performance and excellent client experiences. You will focus on enhancing new and existing products, improving current systems, and providing support.
This role will form part of our client onboarding team for business banking, which includes the process of a new customer joining the bank and opening a transactional account. The team is responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient account opening process.
Our ideal candidate has
- Grade 12 National Certificate (Minimum)
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology (preferred)
- 5 or more years’ proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, project delivery and implementation (in relevant development technologies/language)
- Experience with modern frameworks and technologies
