WHO YOU ARE
As a Senior Mobile Engineer at AURA, you will be the driving force behind enhancing our existing applications built in React-Native, transforming them into world-class consumer-facing products. We're seeking someone with exceptional React-Native skills who can take ownership of our mobile development efforts, including shaping development tooling, deployment strategies, and providing key input on UI/UX improvements.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Drive the development and enhancement of our React-Native applications, focusing on delivering world-class consumer-facing products with seamless UI/UX and robust API integration;
- Collaborate with the engineering team to conceptualize and implement new features, providing technical leadership and guidance on mobile development best practices;
- Most importantly, you will build live saving technology as part of a likeminded, driven, technical collective;
STACK
- Core: Node.js, React, React-Native, TypeScript;
- Tooling: Redux Toolkit, Storybook.js, Onesignal, Socket.io;
- DevOps: CodeMagic;
- Cloud: AWS, GCP;
- Persistence: PostgreSQL, Dynamo, S3, Redis;
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 5 years as a mobile engineer, including experience with React-Native.
- Strong mobile frontend development skills, with a focus on creating engaging and performant user interfaces.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Experience in mentoring and guiding team members, with a focus on collaboration and code quality.
- Track record of delivering high-quality, bug-free code with attention to detail.
- Passionate about building technology that saves lives and improves access to emergency services.
