As a Senior Software Engineer (Back End), you will focus on designing and developing robust, scalable, and efficient software solutions on the .NET (C# ) framework. You will work closely with front-end engineers and other team members to deliver seamless integrations and high-quality products.

You will also mentor junior developers, review code, and provide guidance to support their growth. Working with the Software Engineering Lead, you will ensure the solution architecture meets the team’s high standards for maintainability and performance. Our environment includes both private and public cloud, with a strong emphasis on containerization and microservices.

What you’ll be doing

Engineering

• Build, maintain, enhance, and deploy software aligning with company and industry best practices.

• Unit-test all software artifacts.

• Maintain current systems and develop new systems using the latest technologies.

• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Software Engineers, Quality Engineers, and Product Managers.

• Provide second/third-line support for deployed software.

• Analyze and resolve complex, high-impact production issues.

• Monitor system performance and ensure SLAs are met.

Technical Leadership

• Manage the implementation of technical solutions.

• Transfer business and technical knowledge to the team.

• Mentor junior engineers.

• Ensure system integrity in terms of quality, stability, and scalability.

Support to Software Engineering Lead

• Assist in code reviews.

• Coordinate pair programming.

• Implement best practices, coding standards, and methodologies.

Documentation

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system architecture, processes, and workflows.

Essential skills

• 7+ years of experience in full software development life cycle.

• Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET framework.

• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices.

• Proficiency in SQL Server and writing efficient queries.

• Hands-on experience with Docker.

• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Strong knowledge of DevOps practices (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code).

• Solid understanding of software testing.

• Experience mentoring junior developers.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Desirable skills

• Experience in the online gaming or casino industry.

• Familiarity with TDD (Test-Driven Development).

• Knowledge of Kubernetes, NoSQL databases (MongoDB), Redis, Kafka, and RabbitMQ.

• Understanding of security principles.

• Experience with JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Vue, React).
