WaFunda is a for-profit social impact enterprise using digital technology to enable and deliver education, entrepreneurial education and education financing. WaFunda shares in the vision of its public benefit partner Feenix; a society in which all young people are able to fulfil their potential regardless of wealth.

OUR ENGINEERING PROCESSES

Our organization follows Lean and Human-centered design principles, and our development compliments this approach with behavioural driven design and agile methodologies. While we believe in the principles, we’re also not zealots, and maintain that adaptability is as important as structure when addressing complex issues.

OUR HIRING PROCESS

Our initial candidate screening will be a technical task (some debugging and a new feature proposal), followed by a review and technical interview with our development team lead. Candidates who fulfil our technical requirements will then meet with the full product team and CEO for an interview/discussion to ensure culture fit. Successful candidates will receive a formal offer thereafter.
