NicheCom UK, a leading property marketing company established in 1993, is expanding its Cape Town engineering hub. We’re looking for a hands-on Lead Developer to take ownership of our core Laravel + React platform and AWS infrastructure.
You’ll collaborate closely with UK product leads, shape architectural decisions, and drive innovation across our technology stack. As the first senior developer in Cape Town, you’ll set the standard for code quality, automation, and engineering excellence.
We’re seeking someone with:
• Strong experience in PHP/Laravel and React/Redux
• Deep AWS DevOps knowledge (Terraform, CI/CD, IAM, CloudWatch, RDS)
• A track record of technical leadership and end-to-end delivery
You’ll build systems that power our nationwide operations, driving measurable performance and cost improvements in a modern, cloud-first environment.
Travel: Initial onboarding and training in the UK for up to 3 months, with occasional travel thereafter
