Why work for us
There are teams across MultiChoice who oversee the development of emerging platforms and products for the group. The company takes the vast quantities of entertainment content and services that exist in the MultiChoice stable, and delivers them to customers via breakthrough technologies such as streaming, video-on-demand, portals and mobile broadcasting.
We’re driven by a desire to enrich lives; to make a difference to the communities and countries where we operate. Through our commitment to local content, we’re able to bring African storytelling to a global audience – and we do this through innovative technology that brings the magic to our customers wherever they are, on whatever device they’re using.
We are a group of passionate, digital gurus who devote our time and energy to technology. We love to explore, tinker, break, build, test and launch successful products....and fail fast on stuff that doesn't work but the processes of experimenting is good fun, stimulating and fuels our passion!

MultiChoice is a big company and we do have different departments with processes so it is dependent on which team you will join.
Generally our first step is having a conversation with you, to give you an idea of what we do and learn more about you. This would lead to a conversation on the opportunities we have that we think would fit your profile and understand if this is aligned to your next move.
After that, we set up an interview with the team (this include the tech managers, team leads, senior developers and HR) this will be a discussion and can include some detailed tech questions. The next step will be a technical assessment or second interview.
If you pass the assessment and still interested in the team and position - we have to do background and reference checks (this also includes criminal and qualification checks). We do have to adhere to corporate governance policies.
The final step in our process is to have a discussion with you, where we talk about the offer and we present you with a dummy payslip as well.
